Swimming can be fantastic for children with special needs for several reasons, including building greater muscle strength and physical endurance, increased flexibility, more self-control, confidence and awareness when in and around water.
Swimming lessons can provide essential skills to help minimise the danger around water. Swimming is a great leveller and can help open pathways to continue their health and fitness goals in a fun, non-competitive environment.
The Annette Kellerman Swim Champ swimming lessons are designed to suit each person's individual's needs and run on Weekdays upon request and Saturday and Sunday afternoon between 1:30pm and 5pm.
Lesson's run during school terms and will break during term breaks. Outside of regular swim school times, other times may be available upon request.
